RentThread wants apartment information and resident discussions to be usable by people with disabilities. We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as an engineering target and continuously improve the Service as technology, content, and standards evolve.

Our accessibility work includes:

  • Keyboard access and visible focus
  • Semantic headings, landmarks, labels, and status messages
  • Screen-reader support
  • Text contrast, zoom, reflow, and responsive layouts
  • Reduced-motion preferences
  • Captions, text alternatives, and accessible names where media is offered
  • Accessible forms, errors, legal notices, dialogs, voting, and nested discussions
  • Testing with automated tools and manual assistive-technology workflows

Third-party content, user-submitted material, and linked services may not always meet the same standard. We work to provide accessible controls for reporting an issue and alternative access where reasonably possible.
